Hi,
This news is very glad.
The birth of Arab_American Miss USA means American ideas change little by little.
And I think she was very suprised , because she approved a most beautiful American person for a lot of people.

Miss USA
This is a very very interesting topic. It does have a lot to say about discrimination.
There are many arabs living in the US (also second generation=born there).
It has become increasingly difficult after what happened in New York in 2001.
It is nice to see that some recognition of this, is being discusses.
Good topic.

Miss USA
Hello! I'm Takeda Misato.
The reason why I chose the news that I was interested in. I think that the person who won to Ms.USA is very beautiful. I was surprised that it was first time Arab-American. It shocked me in the opinion that she did not have to become Ms.USA. It was an opinion as the racial discrimination. I think that it is difficult to solve the racial discrimination from a historical viewpoint. However I want people not to have such a thought in the future. What should we do for that?
The answer of work sheet
Ex.1
a j e h f b g c i d
Ex.3
A1. Appearance in swimsuit and evening gown and an interview.
A2. She got involved in pageants to help pay for school.
